Had my new portable station set up on the patio during Musem ships wknd trying it out. Worked K1USN 6/4 16:33utc on 20 meters, had a lot of fun. really wanted to work USS Iowa but never found it. Always next year.
Ron, was it me you got at K1USN? I was on 20M for most of the afternoon. What portable station did you get? I was surprised what a nice event the museum ships weekend was – it was my first time participating. We got one of the CT ships from Hale, but the operators wanted us to use their personal calls for the SOTA log instead!
